3 dec... we had a first lecture today by this awesome mathmatics teacher... professor Marty Ross... his teaching style is great..a very interesting lecture. we learned the klein's bottle or sth like tt... haha... following that... presentation skills... all of us sian la... got PW for 1 year le.. s onvm... headed back to college for lunch... den we had our anatomy lecture.... and we went to Harry Brookes Allen Musuem at Mel Uni to see anatomy musuem. it was cool la... all the preserved bodies and stuff.. got skeleton to organ to tissues... even whole body... i love that place. den went back to rest... dinner was pizza at the parks... so it was an indiv group thing.. my group went to a park that was so cold.. we were shovering as we ate... den victoria night market... i walked the whole market but bought nth... there was nth to buy... so we jus waited for time to pass there... then after that... remember what we had.... we had no reflections... can still remember how Gabriel and i in the morning were jus saying if only there was no reflections today... and there really isn't... so Gab and i rushed back to our rooms to shower... it was a great night... we msn-ed... den sleep.... await for the next day...
Feelings at theat point in time : Great... there is a possibility that there will be no reflections...
On the third day of Trinity, my roommate said to me...

Day 2.... Things jus started to get boring... haha.. ok... same thing.. morning call.. breakfast.. den we had lecture... the first lecture... we walked to a very far lecture hall.. den we had the intro speech about scientific learning by a nobel winner. Following which, a lecture on leadership... haha.. headed back to college for lunch... den we took photos... there were so many flies that day... haha... hot weather... stood there waiting for picture to be taken.. den we broke off for ice breaking.. had a long time with my mentor group.. den we had dinner.... after dinner... was exploring carlton... well...we went the night before... so decided to go with Victor (Mentor) to Safeway (SG's cold storage) to buy some groceries... den we bought chocs and chips. Coke was AUD $0.99 haha... so we bought to drink.. den went back for reflections... that was a long reflection... we had to ask for permission to enter the room... that night... we had to pose and ask our great lady for permission to enter... she will say yes or no.. following that.. we got into small grps to talk about today's lecture. when we were about to finish... a second group of people joined us... then the reflection became longer.... drag.... den we ended and could sleep... it was pass midnight...
Feelings at this point in time: This is so boring.. If only i can end sooner... If only there was no reflections...

Lol... shall write about Day 1 of Trinity... Remembering how it was a month ago. Breakfast at 8. We had cherylyn who volunteered to give us morning call... In my room, this was what happen... 0655 my phone alarm rang. i sat up... 0700 the morning call came... i picked it up... cherylyn said "Good Morning... Wake up liao rite?" haha... den i said ya... den went back to sleep... at 0730. Gabriel's phone alarm went off. We woke up and got ready. 0750 we left our dorm building to dinning hall to eat. Haha. After breaskfast, we went to get our stuff and prepared for the orientation. The whole day was orientation.. haha... ok... got into our mentor groups and stuff... mix around.. den at night.. WELCOME DINNER... all so happy... den it was nice.. with chicken and lamb.. and dessert.. Lime Yougurt Pudding with strawberry sauce... cool.. i forced it down.. after tt.. we went to explore streets of Melbourne with Dr Choe and Ms Low. Upon returning... we had reflections... We talked about dreams... Den we went to sleep... haha...
Feelings at this point in time... "It is rather boring.. Why have reflections every night."
On the first day of Trinity, my roommate said to me...

hi people! party at gabriel's hse
hey people. So daron has been pestering us to blog. guess there's no way to escape. gd thing tday gt event which i can write about. Today, party at gabriel's hse.Unfortunately, 8 ppl only. some of the rest back out.
Left the hse 1 hr earlier,and reached there RIGHT ON TIME!!!(: i feel so damn proud of myself!One of the rare times(:
waited for lynn n nian deng to cm pick me n e rest up. I saw yama when i came bt couldnt be sure if he was one of the melbourne trip ppl:/ feel so embarassed tat i couldnt recognise:/ bt on the other hand, he look somewat familar as well like i've seen him even b4 the melbourne trip...so ironic...
then after we reached gabriel's hse, daron, soon hock were alr there.
we started the party( which izzit exactly a party:/) with lunch first. ate bee hoon which is abit tasteless(no offense) my bee hoon taste sooo much better. mayb gabriel's mum can consider hirin me(:
after lunch,....wahhh...we played this crazy 'food paradise' game!!-.- we'r suppose to pick out cards tat will determine whether we will eat the disgustin food or nt( sh,gab n daron has so meticulously prepared them for us.haha. u guys end up sabo-ing yrselves too:p ). the unlucky person who picks up the joker card will eat the food. those who laughed at the person will be given the 'good priviledge' to share:/ haiz..i kana once. lynn kana twice or more. HAHA, boohoo!
i laughed at yama, so i had to share the soya sause chicken ( i saw a strand of noodle dangling on one of the chicken pieces. i left tat for daron to eat:) )mixed with sth else i think...chicken wasnt so bad only tat it was too salty:( bad for health leh..
the other one was when i kana the joker card, i had to drink the cup of coke mixed wif soya sauce until i eat the maltase choc floatin in it then i can stop. Unfortuantely, i drank everything..forget tat i was to stop when i gt the choc. bt anw, the choc was almost impossible to catch. the drink was horrible. puke out some of it n choke . some of it went to my nose. yuck.
n i was surprise i teared rite after. guess the taste was so unexpected. bt, rest assure no hard feelins haha(:
rest of the day was spent watchin movies. Ocean 11 so borin lol. the rest ok la..nt tat we really finish watchg the whole movie...we went to try out gab's drum set after tat(: lynn's gettin better wif it n soon hock drums so loud. haha
more movies again..n finally dinner!!! bt bee hoon again. haha(:
ok. ppl i will stop bloggin nw cos im very tired...wat happen next in gab's hse i dunno cos went hm alr.
haha.
oh yea, n also, the bus ride home was HORRIBLE!!! SUCKY 88:/ 2 hr to gt home:(

hehe if i m not wrong, on day1 or day2, 1/2dec...
ms low n dr choe brought us out to walk around melbourne... that has shown us more about the streets of melbourne =) ...the thing that caught my eye was the traffic lights for the pedestrians...in singapore, our pedestrians traffic light shines the green man b4 the green man blinks and finally the red man which signals tt pedestrians should stop...however, in melbourne, it was a little different...it was the green man as usual...then the green man do not blink...it is the red man which blinks...it is just not the wat we see in singapore...really interesting...imagine when the non singaporean ppl in melbourne visits singapore n crosses the road...hmmm wonder wat goes through their mind??? =)

talking about the first day we were in Melbourne... 30/11/08.. a month ago... after arriving at the airport... we met up with mentor Sheryn and Ali. waited for a few Malaysians and we were off to Trinity. It was dark at trinity then... standing at the Bul. we were waiting to be called to our rooms... after being called... i realise i was with gabriel and we two were the only ones at Jap block... sad... outcasted... haha... went back to our room... unpacked.... and went off for debrief... haha... was held at the basement... we talked about our greatest take away for day 0... well.... individuals have their own i suppose... anyway... we had pizza... i think a lot of us wrote take away as pizza was great... haha... was sitting next to lynn and wei xin.. was tell them ghost stories to scare them... haha... it was really funny... anyway.. that somewhat marks the end of Day0 in Trinity... Gab and i went back to shower and prepared for an adventourous time ahead.
Feelings at that point of time... "Why is reflection so long... Will this place be fun??"
On the zeroth day of Trininty my roommate said to me.... Lets jus try to enjoy here ok?

Gabriel... Special Edition for you.. haha.. since today marks 1 month after i first roomed with you in Trinity.. You are special gabriel.. you made the experience there at trinity unique for me... remembering the times where we jus talked a lil to each other on the first few days.... later... we got to become very close buddies... we even sychronised i clothes.. haha... wearing dark coloured for the first 4 days... then... we got to be rather great frenz... running through the cold night in the bulpaddock.. haha... and then loooking at possums in Trinity.... we shared joy, laughter, tears... shared chocolates, chips, coke and instant noodles... it was a great time there with you as a room mate.... thanks for waking me up everyday... i kinda like to sleep in.. haha... remembering connie? like how we were the only two to take photo with her.. haha.... the jokes about Dick Lee songs... the NS songs... haha.. Evil bunny... there is still so much more... going for shower at the same time... brushing teeth together... haha... asking victor for hot water... watch movies.. oh... play basketball... haha... chatting bout crap in the room...making a lot of noise... also... i 'KS-ing' you to open the door.. haha... just meant to be a joke.. haha... we were weird back then... making a lot of noise about the toilet... even wearing very little to test weather in the morning... haha... i miss those times.. i miss rooming with you... awww... if only it could happen again... Wishing you best of best in life...

Always have you camera ready to take photos de.. haha...never knew you were such an easy to approach person.. haha.. rather cold to each other during the first quarter of the trip... following that we were rather good frenz.. haha.. a very caring personality you have.. always looking out for others as well... haha.. remembering the times during dance practice.. you and stef jus talk you stuff and make me stuck in the middle so sian.. haha... also the time when you wore your formal attire... the comments i make.. haha.. they were meant to be jus a remark.. haha... you really look tall from tt coat...

Haha... all the interesting jokes we had during the dance practices... haha... even on the last day when we were on board the plane.. haha... we had jokes den.. haha.. esp the one on the spritzer thing.. then it turned out to be a disappointment... haha.. also, thanks for being there on the trip. Kia Weng..my very good supplier of yu-gi-oh vids.. haha... the good laughs we have over looking at your iphone.. haha.. den the times when we had chocolates to feed on in my room... you weren't there most of the time.. sad... i have no idea... but the vids we watched.. we jus somehow like to keep talking about it.. esp about split screens... den... the time we watched wanted... you commented on feeling hot at the rong scene... making all of us burst into laughter... haha... then... me, you, gab.. haha.. the best of 3 buddies i would say... will be tgt most of the time de.. haha... den have to find victor for this and that... oh... and the cup noodles time we had... in my room... we will cook noodles to eat for the fun of eating at times... but sometimes are really hungry...

My group mate.. haha... i never knew you were that hilarious.. anyway... thanks for always dropping by my room to keep me company when gabriel wasn't in.. could still recall the time when you came to my room to ask me to help you transfer your pictures... the jokes we had. esp the one where you called and i got scolded by you for nothing.. haha... also.. the interesting times we had searching for oldies and hokkien songs... Remembering the time when you were crediting you new sim card... the long chat you had... it was funny as well.. hearing the guy talk and you giving that weird face knowing that you were irritated by him... also, i was rather shocked to find that you can speak hokkien... haha... and your jeep-blog jokes... your moth stories... gabriel and i sure had good laughs about that... Also, the stories of richard and our waiter... haha... thanks..

Fu Yang, a great buddy to have. You were there whenever we needed someone and you are always caring. You are a great team player. Working in a team is your speciality. A pity that it was a short trip and i couldn't really get to describe much about you on the trip. You have a very great flow of ideas and imagination. Having you on the team is like having a person who has a more than one brain. You never fail to come up with ideas at the right time. Keep that up. Also, you always have jokes to share with all of us...

Dr Choe, our dad for this trip.. Although there were times we couldn't really understand him and his actions.. we still complied to it... haha.. remembering the time when we were about to leave for the display of fire balls that night. he told me and gabriel to go change into jeans as we were in berms... then we ran all the way.. thanks to his advice... we manage to keep warm out in to cold night.. Thanks. Also, he has always been doing spot checks on our rooms and caught us once when Gab, me and KW were in the room... Then he joined us to chit chat.. haha... interesting dad we have at Melbourne.. haha.. Thanks

Well, she was there as a mother to us... She had to make sure we were there healthy and back to Singapore healthy. I would say she played an important role in this trip together with Dr Choe. Although she seem to be rather free most of the time i believe she has got a lot of matters to handle and plan. Such as topics for our reflections. Also, she was the one who bought lozenges and Vitamin for us to make us stay healthy.. She got shocked when she first saw me eating sugar and chocolates. Haha.. those were funny times... also, remembering the time after the visit to the winery.. she went crazy and did rather weird actions... too bad we couldn't capture those moments.. haha... Thanks a lot Ms Low, the stich lover.

Hey people... Since Lynn has already started this blog.. lets no let this blog go to waste... Do come here to post frequently... i think even if it is not about Melbourne it is fine.. it can be about school related stuff and jokes and whatever you wan... also... try make it a point to read this blog frequently...
Ok.. a few announcements first...
1) there are currently plannings going on for new year eve celebration. please feedback with regards to your attendance. It should be on the 1st of jan. preferably an over night event.
2) Photos please sent to Lynn via email in a zip folder, this way, our blog will have a lot more of our pics
Now... My comment about the trip...
I miss Melbourne... The 2 weeks there was very different and unique. It was an experience you will never get elsewhere... if only it was longer... all the jokes we had, the laughter... the care we gave to one another... the bond and unity we had... those were excellent times... also, the joy of sharing with all of you was great... having people come over to my room just to eat chocolates... haha... also, remembering the night of day 2, (2/12/08) we were in my room when we got busted.. haha.. those interesting and hillarious times... haha.. Well, i shall leave everything here... when i am more free... i will blog about the difference individuals that have impacted me on this trip.. haha... Till then...

the trip was among the best days of my life...
away from parents, living on ur own...the learning of independence (except earning money)
the trip has made the srjcians tt went there a different person...different from the past...
a new experience, a new begining to another chapter of our life, the episode of our uni path
the lifestyle, the type of motivation, the initiative, the process of life in uni...
this will really broaden our minds towards where we wanna head to in uni/life...
a fruitful trip it is to me =) this we have to thank the sch for the opportunity...
n also thank dr choe n ms low....which they act like our "daddy"&"mummy"
hehe...have to thank all u srjcians which we had quite a fun time in melbourne =)

heyya!!(: i'll be the second person to blog!
First, i'll like to say that i miss melbourne alot( i'm sure every1 do too) I miss the people, the mentors esp!(: 2 weeks is not enough definitely!!! The last day was so sad...almost cried:( Didnt have the chance to say a proper good bye to our friends n mentors...hey tat Sunday shud hav been dedicated to spendin our time with our group ppl instead! I suddenly felt that i didnt spend enough of quality time wif my grp:( I miss rasmi darling, tanvi, shahreen, michael, jacqueline, zhong huai, sahir,vir the deaf and sleeping 'beauty' aka yellow jacket guy. my jie jie and kor kor too(:
But anw, i guess frnz come n go in yr life..
Secondly, i'll like to thank our srjcians friends. Everyone has been so great except the part where everyone keeps remindin me im short:/ Thanks for the whole of two weeks. The srjcian dance has definitely bonded us together as a whole. I dont think i'll mind if we can dance again when we cm bck to sch(: brings back happy memories.
Guess wat i liked best in the trip? the wizard of oz musical, bush dance, valedictory nite as well as the disco dancin! hahahaha. my dance buddy is steph!(:
